How does Through actually work?
Three honest steps. You write one sentence — what you're about to do. You focus while the timer steps back and your sentence stays in front of you. At the end, Through asks a single question: did you do it? Yes or no. Over time you see how many blocks you completed as intended.
Is there a subscription?
No. The core loop is free forever, and Through Pro is a single one-time purchase of $19.99. No subscription, ever. Once you buy Pro, it's yours.
What's included in Through Pro?
Blocking distracting apps (really muting them, not just nudging), showing your intent on Apple Watch and your Lock Screen, starting hands-free with Siri or auto-starting from a Focus mode, and a gentle view of your honesty over the weeks. The declare → focus → confirm loop is always free.
What data does Through collect?
None. There's no account, no sign-up, no analytics, and no tracking. Everything stays on your device. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
Why don't I see “No” in red?
On purpose. Through never punishes. An unmet intent is neutral, never red — only genuine technical errors are. There are no streaks to break, so the yes/no stays honest.
What do I need to run it?
An iPhone running iOS 18 or later. The optional Apple Watch glance needs a paired Apple Watch on watchOS 11 or later. App blocking uses Apple's Screen Time, which you can enable from within the app.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases go through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple via Apple's refund process. That said — email us first. We'd rather fix the problem.
